About me
Hi. I’m Diane, a senior communications consultant with a deep-rooted passion for climate, nature and sustainability.
With over two decades of experience, I’ve worked across sectors and continents, helping organisations communicate with clarity and purpose. I’ve led in-house comms teams and supported climate tech start-ups, major brands, governments and NGOs through periods of growth, scrutiny and change.
My work spans media relations, messaging, campaigns, strategic planning, content creation, social media, investor engagement, crisis communications and internal comms. I’ve delivered high-profile announcements, shaped narratives around sensitive issues and helped clients find the right words when it really matters. Earlier in my career, I was a reporter and editor of business magazines, so I also know how to spot a good story and make it land.
Years of specialising in sustainability communications for projects, programmes and partnerships have given me a strong grasp of the connections and context shaping this space. Whether it’s launching modular carbon capture technology, leading riparian tree planting campaigns or advising global companies on their climate strategy, I’ve been part of the sustainability movement in all its forms.
I work flexibly. That might mean delivering a one-off campaign, building a strategy from scratch or embedding within a team as a fractional comms lead to set up or strengthen your function. Whatever the brief, I bring deep subject knowledge, sharp instincts and a calm, practical approach.
Time spent on the client side means I instinctively understand what’s needed. That insight is matched with empathy, editorial sharpness and a sleeves-rolled-up attitude to getting things done, fast.
If you're looking for a strategic partner with hands-on experience, sector expertise and clear-eyed advice, we should talk.
